Firstly, we’ll sit down and have a chat about what you are looking for and what you want from your shoot. We’ll take a gander at the clothes you’ve brought and discuss the different looks we want to capture, creating a flexible structure for the session. Then, we can dive right in and start taking photos! If you’re more experienced, I’m happy to let you experiment and do your thing! If you’re less experienced, don’t stress at all. I will guide you through; giving you tips and tricks to help you out. It’ll be very relaxed. We’ll listen to music, have a boogie and generally, have a great time!

So, different coloured t-shirts are great… BUT there is so much more to it than that. Most importantly, you should bring clothes you are comfortable in and clothes you actually wear. Trust me, you will carry them much better than the three t-shirts you just bought from Primark! I’m a big fan of different layers and textures, it can really shake up a headshot. Clothes that compliment your eye/hair colour etc, can really help your headshot to stand out! Try to avoid big logos and patterns. But bring a good variety, the more options, the better and we can go through them all and decide together.

I do retouch my photos. Having said that, I like to keep them as natural as possible, showcasing you as you! I will remove/reduce any blemishes, tired eyes, but its important that the Casting Director or Agent sees your face as it is, and I promise that’s more beautiful than any photoshopped face!

Once you have completed your shoot, I will upload your photos to a system called Photo Workflow. You will then be able to log on and view your photos. From there you can send them to your agent, family, friends, dog… Once you have decided which photos you would like retouching, you can order them through Photo Workflow and I will endeavour to get them back to you within 7-10 days.

I would say wear whatever makes you most comfortable. I personally prefer a more natural shot. The camera picks up everything, including too much makeup. I’d recommend having your makeup done before you arrive as to not waste time at the shoot, however you will have time to touch bits up throughout the shoot.

The time slot is for you to do with it as you please. So, yes, there will be time for you to shave. There will also be time to change hairstyles. Make sure to bring everything you need, including a towel for shaving or any straighteners/curlers you require. I’d recommend the extended session if you would like a completely different look.
